WIC

Children’s Friend WIC is a nutrition program that nurtures children by providing healthy foods such as milk, juice, cereal, cheese, eggs, infant formula, tuna, and carrots. Our team of nutritionists provides education to empower families to achieve better health outcomes. Lactation consultants provide breastfeeding support and advice. 

Children’s Friend can also make referrals to doctors, dentists, and other community services.

Who is eligible?

  • Pregnant women
  • Breastfeeding moms
  • New moms with babies under six months old
  • Babies
  • Children younger than five years old

Note: Fathers, grandparents and foster parents can also apply for WIC for children in their care. WIC is an equal opportunity provider.

To receive WIC services, families must meet WIC Federal Income Guidelines (GUIA FEDERAL SOBRE INGRESO PARA WIC).
