Head Start and Early Head Start Child Care Partnership extends core services at Children’s Friend to other high-quality licensed child care centers throughout Rhode Island. 

Children’s Friend staff partner with staff at child care centers so that families can access comprehensive Head Start services, such as health, nutrition, and family development.

Together, we ensure that all children enter school ready for success.

Who is eligible?

• Families that meet Head Start eligibility guidelines and receive state child care assistance
• Early Head Start Child Care Partnership: Children ages birth to 3, living anywhere in RI
• Head Start Child Care Partnership: Children ages 3- 5, living in Providence, Pawtucket, Central Falls, Cumberland, and Lincoln
