I had the privilege of participating in the Nurse-Family Partnership virtual graduation on November 18th.  There were twenty-five mothers and toddlers, who after more than two years of engagement, successfully completed this evidence-based program.  Also attending were state, national, and Children’s Friend and NFP program supporters.

The moms shared how much of a positive impact the support, advice, and information that their NFP nurse had on their pregnancy, delivery, and raising of their child.  The children had their graduation caps on and were snuggled into their mothers’ arms as a slide show of each child as an infant through their two years of development was played.

It was an outstanding celebration of each mother-child relationship and each nurse’s exceptional work at supporting this important bond.   Congratulations to all the NFP moms for your achievement and thank you for your service NFP team!
