The killing of George Floyd has once again brought into the spotlight, for all to see, the racism and discrimination that is experienced on a daily basis in our country.
To our families, friends, employees, and community I want to confirm that Children’s Friend stands against racism, oppression, and violence in all forms. Our work every day with the children and families we serve seeks out and builds on the unique strengths that each individual and family embodies.
It is obvious that our community is hurting. We at Children’s Friend will continue to do our part to both support healing and to make lasting change for a more equitable community.
